Minister of Aviation under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Femi Fani-Kayode, has warned the President Muhummmadu Buhari-led government and the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai against using military force on #EndSARS protesters.
The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain noted that the decision will bring an end to Nigeria.
Nigerians keep protesting against the brutality of the police force despite the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.
Prominent individuals in the country have joined their voice in the fight against corruption, bad governance, oppression, disobedience to the rule of law and other situations that needs attention in the country.
The former Minister in his statement noted that if the youths are killed the same way members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, were killed, Nigeria will break-up.
In a tweet on Sunday morning, Fani-Kayode said, “The plan to deploy soldiers to slaughter #EndSARS protesters just as Shiite Muslims and IPOB youths were once butchered will be Burutai & Buhari’s gravest error.”
“It will turn the #Endsars movement into the #EndNigeria movement. We warn again: Do not kill these innocent youths.”
